The story of Curry O'clock

Hi, I am Shey. I am originally from Sri Lanka and am now living in the Netherlands. I founded Curry O’Clock in 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I developed the concept after hosting a Sri Lankan cooking workshop for a friend as a birthday present. The idea was to create a way to share my knowledge about Sri Lankan food and make my culture accessible to everyone. Since then, I have hosted several cooking workshops and expanded my business online.

Let’s Make Some Curry!

Curry O’Clock teaches people how to cook and eat fresh curries. We cook Sri Lankan food during our workshops at home and online.

Curry O’Clock is fully equipped with technology to conduct online cooking workshops for companies and individuals efficiently. In addition to my home visit workshops, the demand for online workshops has increased tremendously due to COVID-19, which is a great team-building activity.

The Sri Lankan Spice Box comes with seven different spices that are essential to making the perfect Sri Lankan curry, including a homemade Sri Lankan raw curry powder that makes the most delicious curry.
